Uptown Area

This is the north side of the Uptown area, it consist a mixture of low and high-rise office towers and condo towers.  The buildings at front are apartments and condominiums.  Most noticeable are La Tour at center a 22-story condo tower and the 42-story Cityplace office tower at right.

   

Photo at left is looking south towards downtown.  Photo at right  is the Crescent complex, it consist of office, retail shops, restaurants and the prestigious Dallas' Hotel Crescent Court.

Uptown is located just north of downtown from Woodall Rodgers Freeway.  From the Arts District downtown you can take a tour on the McKinney Avenue old fashion electric trolleys.  McKinney Avenue is brick-lined and is known for many of the city's finest restaurants.  Uptown also is known for its great boutiques, antique shops and art galleries.
