1700 Pacific Avenue

Architect: WZMH Group

The 50-story 1700 Pacific Avenue tower is flame-finished in carmen red granite and has smoked-glass windows. The tower's top portion consist of a series of setbacks angle-wise that vary in length on both north and south sides.  At ground level the base of the tower along with the lobby which is lit by three-story atrium are also situated at an angle, therefore facing the corner towards Thanks-Giving Square. The building occupies about 50 per cent of the site and is set back allowing for a park-like plaza. Free-flowing fountains parallel the main entrances to the main lobby retail shops and restaurants. The underground pedestrian tunnels connect the building to other nearby buildings such as Republic Center and Bank One Center.
